Support Groups

Local patient support groups bring together people experiencing similar life experiences who can offer support and encouragement to one another while learning to more effectively manage their illness.

Patient support is not just for patients, it is for families, friends and carers of people with PH who also feel stress and concerns about the effects of PH and need the opportunity to meet with others to share experiences.

Support groups provide everyone the opportunity to:

• Educate yourself about PH—clarify what might be confusing
• Access new disease or treatment information
• Share experience, exchange tips and tricks for living with PH
• Raise awareness in the community about PH and help end the isolation patients can feel
